Sales Account Manager

The Role

DZone, Inc.  is hiring additional Account Managers to join our growing Business Development team! In this role, you will help our customers successfully market campaigns through analysis of their needs and goals. You will also consult with our customers on the best ways to leverage DZone, Inc. 's audience and products.  

Responsibilities

As a part of our Tech Media Business Development team, you will be responsible for acquiring new business through research, prospecting, and diligent outreach.  You will work with Sales Support and Production team members to deliver exceptional marketing campaigns on behalf of our partners.  In addition, you will remain up to date on the tech industry in order to deliver excellent service and identify new opportunities.  

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience
  • Exceptional communication skills  
  • Team-player mindset
  • Detail oriented with ability to manage many client relationships
  • Consultative selling experience and the ability to close
  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service
